Collective redress
The firm's founding discipline: bringing one action on behalf of everybody a single course of conduct has harmed.
Collective redress is not a species of claim. It is a method — the aggregation of many small, individually uneconomic losses into one proceeding that a court or tribunal can try. The work is procedural before it is substantive: who is in the class, how is loss proved across it, and who funds the years between filing and judgment.
We act as proposed class representative, as counsel to representative bodies, and alongside funders and claims administrators on books that run to six figures. Every action starts with the same question: can this loss be proved on a class-wide basis without a mini-trial for each claimant.

From the firm

PayWave customers could be owed compensation following alleged unlawful arbitration practices
Between November 2021 and February 2025, PayWave charged instant-transfer and currency-conversion fees above the rates it published. A class action is barred by the contract. An individual arbitration is not.

Understanding mass arbitration
A procedure that exists because of a contractual term, not in spite of one. How individual demands filed in volume came to be the principal route to consumer redress in the United States.
